Hair Transplant for Women

Hair restoration planned around female hair loss, with a careful medical assessment, a plan that protects your existing hair and 12 months of follow-up.

Hair loss in women

Hair loss in women often looks different from male pattern hair loss. It is frequently more diffuse and may widen the parting or affect the hairline and temples. Causes can include genetics, hormonal changes and other medical factors, so a careful assessment always comes first.

Is a hair transplant right for me?

A hair transplant works well when hair loss is stable and concentrated in specific areas, and when the donor area is strong enough. If a transplant is not the right option for you, our medical team will tell you and may suggest supportive treatments such as PRP or mesotherapy instead.

A plan made for you

Using the FUE technique, follicles are moved to the areas that need more density while your existing hair is protected. Your hairline, the density you would like and the way you style your hair are all considered during planning. The procedure is performed under local anaesthesia.

Recovery and 12 months of follow-up

New growth usually begins after three to four months, and the final result is typically visible after 12 to 18 months. Throughout this period, our team follows your progress for 12 months and supports you with aftercare guidance.

Frequently asked questions

Can every woman with hair loss have a hair transplant?

Not always. Diffuse thinning across the whole scalp, or hair loss with an underlying medical cause, may need a different approach first. Our medical team assesses your situation and recommends a hair transplant only when it is a suitable option for you.

Do I need to shave my head?

Not necessarily the whole head. How much shaving is needed depends on the area to be treated and the number of grafts. This is discussed with you during planning, so you know exactly what to expect.
