Beard Transplant

A fuller, more even beard by transplanting hair follicles into patchy or thin areas of the beard, moustache or sideburns.

What is a beard transplant?

A beard transplant uses the FUE technique to move hair follicles, usually from the back of the scalp, to the beard, moustache or sideburns. It can fill patchy areas, increase density or redefine the beard line.

A natural-looking design

Facial hair grows at very specific angles. Our medical team plans the shape and density of your beard with you and places each graft to follow the natural direction of growth, so that the result blends with your existing facial hair.

Recovery

The procedure is performed under local anaesthesia. Small crusts around the grafts usually fall off within the first one to two weeks, and the transplanted hairs may shed before they grow back. New growth typically appears after a few months. You receive clear aftercare instructions, including when you can shave again.

Frequently asked questions

Will my transplanted beard look natural?

Each graft is placed to follow the natural angle and direction of your facial hair, and the design is planned with you to suit your face. Once grown, the transplanted hairs can be trimmed and shaped like the rest of your beard.

When can I shave after a beard transplant?

The treated area should not be shaved until the grafts are secure. Your medical team will tell you exactly when you can start trimming and shaving again, usually after the first couple of weeks.
